Homework & Exams
All students are encouraged to ask questions by email anytime. Whether it's a question about homework or maybe you didn't understand a concept taught during class, please let me know what you need help with and I'll always do my best to answer your questions.
Homework
All online homework assignments are due at least 24-hrs. in advance of the scheduled class time. Assignments are marked in the order they are received. Late assignments will be marked at my earliest convenience.
Please hand-in your homework on time!

Please scan all pages of your homework into a single PDF document, then email the scanned assignment to me with an attachment for marking. Total file size must be less than 5MB. (No linked assignments please).
Exams
All students are expected to write in-person exams for Theory 8, Harmony 9, 10, ARCT, and Analysis. These 3-hr. exams (Theory 8 is 2-hrs.) are in the 2nd weekend of May, August & December.

RCM offers online exams for Theory 5, 6, 7, 8 and History 9, 10, ARCT. History exams include about 40-50 short answer questions + 2 typed essays (500 words); ARCT includes an additional Research Essay (1,000 words). Time limit is between 70-mins. to 150-mins., depending on the History level.

Theory Exams consist of 8 Unit Tests + 1 Final Exam, all sections have an unlimited number of "practice tests" that students can try before completing the marked test. Unit Tests have between 10-18 questions; 10-min. time limit. The Final Exam has 98-questions; 1-hr. time limit.
After purchasing the RCM Online Theory Study Guide with Exam ($210), students have 12-months to complete all nine components (8 units + 1 final exam) of the exam.
